The Prize

Storybook Nuremberg

Nuremberg’s Christkindlesmarkt, the world’s most storied Christmas market, has been weaving holiday magic for nearly four centuries. Follow your local guide through this wonderland as church bells chime in the distance and snowflakes catch the light above the Hauptmarkt square. Sample the city’s most beloved treats: warm Nuremberg Lebkuchen spiced with honey and cinnamon, savory bratwurst sizzling over open flames, and a steaming mug of Glühwein to keep your hands warm and your spirits high.

Merry Munich

Next, travel south to Munich, where Bavaria’s capital turns into a glittering holiday fairytale. Join your local guide for a festive walking tour through four of Munich’s most beloved markets, from the traditional Christkindlmarkt at Marienplatz to the Medieval Market near Odeonsplatz and the enchanting Christmas Village in the Residenz palace courtyard. Sip steaming mugs of mulled wine, sample freshly baked gingerbread, and browse artisanal gifts beneath canopies of lights.

Cozy 4-Star Retreats

Your home in Nuremberg is a 4-star retreat at the NH Collection Nürnberg City, where modern comfort meets Old Town charm. Just steps from the medieval walls and the glow of the market square, your stay is the perfect balance of festive excitement and cozy retreat. For two nights in Munich, you’ll stay at the Eden Hotel Wolff, just moments from the grand Marienplatz and its world-famous Christmas market. After each day, return to your hotel, hang your scarf to dry, and raise a glass to the timeless magic of Christmastime in Germany.
