Hotel Saint Paul Rive Gauche
Your home for five nights is Hotel Saint Paul Rive Gauche, a 17th-century mansion on rue Monsieur le Prince, a quiet street minutes from the Luxembourg Gardens and the cafés of Saint-Germain. Exposed wooden beams, high ceilings, and floral fabrics give your room the warmth of a Parisian apartment rather than a hotel. Step out into the flowering courtyard, or downstairs to the vaulted stone cellar where Franciscan monks once dined. Wake up, walk out for a croissant still warm from the boulangerie, and let the Latin Quarter unfold on foot.
From Canvas to Can-can
One day you’ll skip the ticket line at the Musée d’Orsay, an old train station turned art museum, to meet your expert guide for a tour of the impressionists room. These are the paintings you’ve seen your whole life on posters and coffee mugs: Monet, Van Gogh, Renoir. Another night, you’re in for dinner and a show at the Moulin Rouge. Here you’ll experience the mythical French Cancan, a swirl of rhinestones, feathers, and high kicks!
A Visit to Versailles
A short ride from Paris, the gilded gates of Versailles swing open and you walk straight in. Inside, the Hall of Mirrors runs the length of the palace, hundreds of panes catching the afternoon light and throwing it across the parquet. Move through the State Apartments where Louis XIV woke, dined, and ruled in full view of his court. Then step outside into the gardens, where gravel paths cut between clipped hedges, the Latona Fountain rises ahead of you, and the Grand Canal stretches toward the horizon.

Your donation is tax deductible in the U.S. to the full extent provided under the law. Every Alltroo rally raises funds for Change Starts With Me, a Minneapolis, MN based Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All donations go to Change Starts With Me, which has decided to grant your donations, minus costs associated with fundraising and the prize, to After-School All-Stars. In December 2011, high school hockey player Jack Jablonski’s life changed forever. A promising sophomore at Benilde-St. Margaret’s outside Minneapolis, Minnesota, he was playing what should have been just another routine game when a check from behind sent him crashing into the boards.
